This project is a wordmark typographic system for Prague, developed as a city-promotion identity across posters and merchandise.

 

I started from Didot as the base typeface, then deconstructed and reassembled letterforms into a modular, layered structure—so the wordmark can shift in scale, overlap, and rhythm while staying recognizable.

 

The irregular stacking and repeated fragments echo Prague’s cultural density and historic depth, while the high-contrast serif language keeps the overall look minimal, sharp, and contemporary.
